DEVIL'S CLAW —60 CAPSULES
HELLISH GOOD FOR YOUR JOINTS’ WELL-BEING
Who of us is not familiar with joints complaining in everyday life and impairing our well-being accordingly? As long as these unpleasant impairments are not symptoms of a disease, the food supply from mother nature’s garden gives us fascinating help for our everyday life, which can support, in particular, the well-being of our joints in a natural way.
One of these fascinating food plants from mother nature’s garden is the African rampion. Although this plant is also named “devil’s claw”, it is not bad or evil, but—in our opinion—rather hellish good when it comes to your joints’ well-being.
The rampion, which originates from Africa, is a perennial and up to 1.5 meters long terrestrial plant, which develops leafy and flat lying shoots during the rainy season. It has large, noticeable blossoms in pink to crimson color. The blossoms then develop into the claw-like fruit, which gave the plant its peculiar name. Due to their “claws”, these fruit cling to animals’ hides, which leads to the proliferation of the plant.
In Africa, this plant resp. its root is traditionally known to the native population not only as aliment, but also as medical herb in case of discomfort. Especially in case of pain, fever and digestion problems, it was readily devoured, most often as a tea, made from the dried roots of the plant.
During the first half of the last century, German soldiers, which were deployed in Africa, allegedly took notice of this old and remarkably popular plant, why they brought it to Europe.
With the second half of the last century, analytical research of this fascinating plant began. It was found, that the root contains, amongst other things, so-called iridoids, which are also known as tanning agents. Other tanning agents of this plant are also a particular substance, which was considered so important and effective, that it was designated after the botanical name of the plant (harpagophytum procumbens) “harpagoside”. Furthermore, additional phenyl glycoside as well as flavonoids and other carbohydrates were found.
In laboratory tests, first conducted in 1958 at the university of Jena, researchers found, that rampion root has an anti-inflammatory and slightly analgesic effect. It could not be verified, which of the contained substances was responsible for this effect. But it was suspected, that the already mentioned substance harpagoside plays a key role.
Since the end of the last century, several different studies were conducted on humans, using highly concentrated dosages of 50 to 200 mg harpagoside. The multitude of the medical studies conducted is so exciting and extensive, that we apologize for not being able to specifically talk about those. Founded in 1978, commission E concluded after examining the available scientific findings, that a proofed effect of highly concentrated rampion root extract exists in cases of degenerative diseases of the locomotor system, in cases of pain in the lower back, and in cases of lack of appetite. But these pharmacological effects only occur with daily doses above 50 harpagoside.
As aliment, rampion is, of course, not consumed in doses as high as in medications and therefore lacks the identified medical effects. Nevertheless, rampion as aliment supports your joints’ well-being in a wonderful and natural way.
This is why we are so excited about this fascinating natural substance, and we have therefor—also on our customers’ request—decided to dedicate an own product to it.
For our product “rampion”, we did not—often seen elsewhere—use only rampion powder, but also extract from real African rampion root in the ratio 5:1, which contains 15 mg of natural harpagosides. Therefore, our formula’s dose is five times higher than that of normal powder.
Furthermore, we refined the formula with vitamin C. Vitamin C actually contributes to a normal generation of collagen for a normal function of cartilage and bones. Our formula will therefore support your joints’ well-being in a gentle and tender way. Try it! We are sure that you will be impressed.
Our Tip: We recommend you to combine our product “Rampion” with our products “Flexi Bel” and/or “Sacra Incense Gold”. We think that there is no better way.
Advice: Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy way of living.
